Become A Friend Session (In-Person) – Hosted at Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library

A Dementia Friend is someone who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of people living with dementia through increased awareness and support. The Dementia Friends Workshop will equip attendees with the knowledge to help make their communities a safer and more welcoming place for those living with dementia and their care partners while learning the difference between normal aging and dementia related diseases. You will also receive tips on how to best communicate with those that have Alzheimer’s.

Jan Dorsey, from Hendricks County Senior Services will be presenting the Dementia Workshop at the Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library. The library address is 1120 Stafford Road, Plainfield, Indiana 46168.
